About the role

We are looking for a Food Engineer to lead the formulation, development and quality control of a range of food products, including sodium bicarbonate, seasonings and instant coffee. The role will be part of the R&D team and will ensure that raw materials meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise formulations for bakery‑type ingredients such as sodium bicarbonate and various seasonings.
• Develop new instant‑coffee blends and other specialty food products.
• Conduct quality‑control tests and monitor compliance with food‑safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and supply‑chain teams to implement scalable processes.
• Document results and present recommendations for product improvement.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Food Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in product formulation, development and quality control within the food industry.
• Familiarity with raw materials such as sodium bicarbonate, seasonings and instant coffee.
• Knowledge of food safety and quality standards.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
