About the role

The IT Operations & Maintenance Manager will ensure the continuous operation, maintenance, and evolution of the organization’s IT services that support its products and platforms. This role leads the end‑to‑end management of technology platforms, resolves critical incidents, and drives continuous improvement while meeting SLA commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee uninterrupted and efficient operation of IT platforms and services.
• Maintain SLA compliance and ensure availability of critical systems.
• Design and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Implement business continuity and disaster recovery (DRP) plans.
• Lead resolution of critical incidents with effective response times.
• Monitor system performance and define KPIs.
• Promote continuous improvement for stability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to information security policies (NIST) and internal controls (SOX).
• Oversee internal and external audits.
• Manage technical multi‑disciplinary teams using agile methodologies.
• Coordinate improvement initiatives with internal and external partners.
• Drive system modernization and adoption of new technologies, including DevOps practices.
• Align IT services with business needs and commercial processes.
• Manage technology vendors and SLA compliance.
• Administer OPEX budget, resources, and inventory.
• Produce executive reports on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications or related field.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in IT Management.
• 4–6 years of experience in IT operations or critical platform maintenance.
• Experience in the telecommunications sector is desirable.
