Full-time On-site Reporter – La Paz

About the role

The Reporter will join Friday ice-cream Gomaa’s communications team in La Paz, Bolivia, working full-time on-site to produce news and feature stories that highlight company initiatives, community events, and industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Gather information through interviews, research and source development.
• Verify facts and ensure accuracy before publication.
• Write news articles, features and updates for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with multimedia teams to integrate photos, video or digital assets.
• Prepare reports and adapt content for different platforms while meeting tight deadlines.
• Work closely with communication and marketing teams to maintain consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Strong reporting and fact-checking abilities.
• Excellent written communication in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work on-site in La Paz, manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail and inclusive reporting mindset.
