Forward Deployed Engineer (Python + AI) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

FullStack is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise clients across Latin America. You will identify AI opportunities, design end‑to‑end agentic systems, and ensure they operate reliably in production.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery workshops, assess data readiness, and differentiate genuine AI problems from workflow issues.
• Architect and design retrieval‑centric agentic solutions, including data sourcing, embeddings, hybrid search, and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards.
• Build and ship production‑ready agents, retrieval services, and evaluation tooling, owning CI/CD pipelines with prompt and context versioning.
• Operate post‑launch systems: monitor metrics, manage cost/latency, handle drift, and enable client teams to run the solution independently.
• Present designs to senior technical leaders, quantify impact, and support pre‑sales scoping when needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a mainstream stack (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, C#/.NET, or Go).
• 1–4 years delivering production AI solutions, including LLM workflows and RAG architectures.
• Advanced English and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven client‑facing discovery experience and ability to ask strategic “why” questions.

Required skills

• Python (primary language) and familiarity with other major languages.
• Experience with AI developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or OpenAI Codex.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, event‑driven systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with agentic orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, N8N, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) and LLM APIs.
