Director, Business Development

About the role

McCuskey is seeking a seasoned professional services salesperson to generate and close new business in the U.S. market. This commission‑driven position focuses on building profitable client relationships from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of U.S. professional services opportunities.
• Develop executive‑level relationships and originate new business through outreach, networks, referrals and strategic partnerships.
• Lead opportunities from initial contact through qualification, proposal, negotiation and close.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and professional teams to craft solutions that meet client needs.
• Consistently achieve new‑business and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven success selling professional services at scale, preferably to U.S. organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to independently originate and close significant client engagements.
• Strong executive‑level communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English (CEFR C1 minimum, C2 preferred) for all client interactions.
• Experience with U.S. healthcare or health‑insurance clients is highly preferred.
