DevOps Engineer – Azure & On-Premise (Remote, Latin America)

About the role
We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters in Azure and on‑premise environments.
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
- Manage Linux servers (Ubuntu or Talos) and write automation scripts in Python and Bash.
- Administer databases such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and ClickHouse, and handle distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Zabbix, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
- Ensure security hardening, integrate SIEM tools (Wazuh) and vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
- Plan disaster recovery, automate backups, and support on‑premise data‑center operations.
Required profile
- 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of managing Azure cloud infrastructure and on‑premise virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
- Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously in an Agile/Scrum environment.
