DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with US‑based clients across Latin America. The role focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining both Azure cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, integrating directly with client engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale and maintain production Kubernetes clusters.
• Design, implement and manage Azure cloud resources.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Support on‑premise data‑center operations, virtualization (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Automate infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Implement security hardening, SIEM (Wazuh) and integrate vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster‑recovery strategies and automated backups.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to internal libraries.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proven track record with Kubernetes, Azure and on‑premise virtualization.
• Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu or Talos) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers).
• Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Detail‑oriented, proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
