Country Representative for IGNITE Program

About the role

The Country Representative will lead the implementation of the IGNITE (Inclusive Growth and Networks for Investment, Trade and Economic Linkages) program in Bolivia, ensuring alignment with program objectives, local priorities, and donor requirements. Reporting to the Program Manager in Canada, the role serves as the primary point of contact for the initiative within the country.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of IGNITE’s strategy and activities in Bolivia.
• Coordinate with government agencies, private sector partners, and other stakeholders to strengthen institutional capacity for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and prepare regular reports for the Program Manager.
• Provide support and coordination for a limited number of regional activities across the program portfolio when needed.
• Represent IGNITE in meetings, workshops, and public events within the country.

Required profile

• Proven experience in program or project management, preferably in international development or economic growth initiatives.
• Must reside in the program country (Bolivia, Ecuador, Honduras, or Peru).
• Ability to work closely with government officials, private sector partners, and donor agencies.
