Coordinador de Proyecto G-Star

About the role

The G-Star Project Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, and closure of the Gender Empowerment & Green Skills for Transformative Adolescent and Youth Resilience (G-STAR) project in La Paz. The role ensures high‑quality, effective, and efficient delivery across all phases, aligning with Save the Children and donor standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project plans, strategies, and implementation activities.
• Manage programmatic and administrative‑financial aspects, including budgeting, reporting, and donor compliance.
• Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes to track impact.
• Facilitate active participation of partner organisations, municipal authorities, and community actors.
• Ensure alignment with the project’s logical framework and the country’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate or higher education in project management, human rights or related fields; Bachelor’s in social sciences or humanities.
• Certification in Program Management Methodology (PMM) – desirable.
• Minimum 6 years of project management experience and at least 4 years coordinating early‑childhood initiatives.
• Experience with adolescent/ youth development, employability or entrepreneurship programs.
• Background in gender‑based projects, community development, and network coordination.
• Willingness to travel frequently to municipalities of La Paz and to respond to emergency situations.

Required skills

• Program Management Methodology (PMM) certification.
• Proficiency with PRIME or similar project‑management tools.
• Budget and financial control expertise for donor‑funded projects.
