About the role

BIONOVA, a leader in the health and care sector, is seeking a General Accountant to ensure accurate accounting and financial management. The role involves guaranteeing compliance with current regulations and delivering reliable information for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare, analyze and present periodic and annual financial statements in accordance with regulations.
• Manage and control tax and labor obligations, including payroll processing and contributions to health entities.
• Handle tax declarations and payments.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing required documentation.
• Prepare payroll, social benefits and labor contributions.
• Advise management on accounting, financial and tax matters.
• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Control inventory valuation and reconcile fiscal and accounting inventories.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Financial Auditing, Accounting Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a General Accountant or similar role, preferably in the health or services sector.
• Strong knowledge of current tax and labor regulations.
• Extensive experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

Required skills

• Proficient use of ERP Odoo (desired).
