Auditor Operativo – Fixed Term (La Paz)

About the role

The company is seeking an Operational Auditor on a fixed‑term basis to strengthen its audit function in La Paz. The role focuses on applying audit principles, accounting standards and risk‑management practices within financial intermediation entities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report internal or external audit missions in accordance with applicable standards.
• Assess compliance with Bolivian financial regulations issued by ASFI and relevant tax legislation.
• Evaluate the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Bolivian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (NAGA).
• Identify risk exposures and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain documented evidence of training received in audit, accounting and risk management over the past twelve months.

Required profile

• Professional degree in national provision (título profesional en provisión nacional).
• At least three years of experience in internal or external audit, or supervisory roles in financial intermediation entities, after obtaining the degree.
• Documented training in audit principles, accounting and risk management within the last twelve months.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ASFI regulations and Bolivian tax norms.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Understanding of Bolivian Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (NAGA).
• Proficiency with International Auditing Standards (IAS/NIA).
