About the role

The World Food Programme in Bolivia is seeking a Resource Mobilization Associate to support partnership development, fundraising, and communication activities. The role contributes to strengthening and diversifying WFP’s alliance base to achieve the country strategic plan.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the country office’s partnership work plan, identifying and maintaining relationships with strategic partners from public, private, and international sectors.
• Collect, organize and analyse information on funding trends, donor priorities and cooperation opportunities to diversify WFP’s donor portfolio.
• Maintain up‑to‑date partner and donor data in corporate systems such as Salesforce and WINGS, ensuring data quality and timeliness.
• Assist in preparing funding proposals, narrative reports, concept notes, project profiles and visibility materials for donors and partners.
• Provide technical and administrative support for cooperation agreements, memoranda of understanding and other collaboration instruments.

Required profile

• Bolivian nationality or foreign national with a valid work permit in Bolivia.
• University degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Communication, Business Administration, International Development, Political Science or related fields.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in resource mobilisation, partnership management and project proposal development.
• Experience coordinating with international organisations and public or private sector entities.
• Fluent Spanish and intermediate to advanced English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using donor management platforms such as Salesforce and WINGS.
• Ability to collect, analyse and present information clearly and structurally.
• Fundraising knowledge or training (preferred).
