About the role

The Bolsa Boliviana de Valores is seeking a Market Analyst to support monitoring and control of market operations. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting participants, and contributing to the efficient functioning of Bolivia's securities market.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring, controlling, and tracking market participants and financial instruments.
• Execute control and follow‑up activities related to market operations.
• Manage operational and regulatory processes with market participants, guaranteeing adherence to current regulations.
• Alternate leadership of Centralized Trading Mechanisms and Share Auctions.
• Coordinate valuation processes and regulatory compliance, handling requests from supervisory entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Financial Engineering, Commercial Engineering or equivalent.
• Post‑graduate studies or courses in Stock Market, Quantitative Analysis, Econometrics are desirable.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the financial sector in a similar role.
• Intermediate level of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quantitative software packages such as Eviews and Stata.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Intermediate Power BI knowledge.
• Understanding of financial mathematics.
• Knowledge of econometrics and applied statistics.
• Familiarity with artificial‑intelligence applications.
