About the role

We are a fast‑growing Latin American fintech that enables secure, cross‑border digital payments. The Junior Compliance Analyst will support the monitoring and analysis of regulatory compliance related to local and international payment methods, client onboarding, and cross‑border transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, process and analyse transactions to identify potential regulatory breaches such as money‑laundering or KYC/AML issues.
• Detect risk patterns in payment‑method data and cross‑border payments using internal tools.
• Document findings and evidence accurately and confidentially.
• Verify and manage user profiles (individuals and businesses) through KYC/AML procedures, including document validation.
• Conduct periodic reviews of user data to ensure up‑to‑date information and compliance.
• Collaborate with customer‑service teams to resolve identification discrepancies.
• Perform compliance reviews of local and international payment processes, supporting the collection of information for suspicious‑activity cases.
• Respond to internal requests from operations, commercial and support areas and participate in compliance training sessions.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in compliance, AML/KYC or related roles (preferred).
• Relevant courses or certifications in regulatory compliance, AML/KYC or fintech regulations are a plus.
• Intermediate English (B1 or higher) for reviewing international regulations.
