Analista de Comercio Exterior (Comex)

About the role

Inchcape Bolivia is seeking a dedicated Foreign Trade Analyst to support the import and nationalisation processes for its automotive, truck, machinery, spare parts and aftermarket divisions. The role will ensure smooth customs clearance, accurate data management and compliance with international trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update shipment information, including packing lists, operational status, transit locations and nationalised units.
• Maintain the material master database, register new materials and verify imported product data.
• Handle import authorisations with the Viceministry of Transport via SIOAP, coordinating with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics providers to supply required documentation for clearance and nationalisation.
• Allocate transport and assemble shipments, considering priorities, pre‑assignments, exhibitions, recalls and brand requirements.
• Oversee the nationalisation process for all product categories, including fund requests and payment coordination.
• Manage insurance, provisions and import documentation to support accounting and asset administration.
• Prepare reports and ensure compliance with OEA‑SAFE guidelines, shipment control best practices and foreign trade management requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in similar customs and import logistics roles.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, the Commercial Code and OEA certification.
• Proven negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
