Agentic AWS DevOps Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an Agentic AWS DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team remotely from Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, delivering cloud‑native solutions for U.S. clients on a project‑based basis.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s development team and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native applications.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar tools.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Leverage Agentic AI tools to automate DevOps workflows and improve efficiency.
• Monitor, log, and observe systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance in all cloud environments.
• Write automation scripts in Python, Bash or comparable languages.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and take extreme ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS, etc.).
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines and using IaC tools.
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud monitoring tools.
• Experience optimizing cloud costs and ensuring security compliance.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week remotely and be authorized to work in your country.
