Data Engineer (SQL Server, SSIS, Python & Databricks)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Data Management team. In this position you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, Python, and Databricks, supporting critical business operations and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into high‑quality data solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL stored procedures, functions, tables, indexes, and SSIS packages.
• Optimize database performance through tuning, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
• Support production data loads, refresh processes, and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality.
• Contribute to cloud‑based data platforms, especially Databricks, and implement enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases in production, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.
• 3+ years building and supporting SSIS packages.
• 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proven experience in SQL performance tuning and delivering scalable solutions.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data transformations, and analytics.
