B2B Marketing & Business Communications Consultant (Remote)

About the role

IDB Invest is seeking a consultant to strengthen its B2B marketing and business communications across Latin America and the Caribbean. You will work remotely with internal marketing, communications, and business teams to showcase the institution’s transactions, events, and award‑winning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver tailored communications for business transactions, highlighting financial innovation and development impact.
• Maintain an inventory of high‑profile awards, support applications, track outcomes and build a knowledge base for future submissions.
• Coordinate business events, managing agendas, logistics, invitations, vendors and post‑event reporting.
• Update and manage stakeholder contact records before and after events, ensuring accurate follow‑up actions.
• Assist with marketing campaigns and content initiatives that reinforce IDB Invest’s positioning in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Relations or related field; additional certifications in B2B marketing or event management are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, preferably within multilateral institutions, development banks or large corporations.
• Proven ability to produce clear, audience‑tailored content in both English and Spanish.
• Legal right to work in your country of residence and no close relatives employed by IDB entities.
