About the role

The Knowledge Management and Social Infrastructure team of the Inter‑American Development Bank (Grupo BID) is looking for a motivated, proactive professional with excellent oral and written communication skills. The consultant will support the full editorial and dissemination cycle of knowledge products that promote sustainable, resilient, and innovative social infrastructure across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, quality‑check, and publish technical documents, guides, studies, blogs and other specialized materials.
• Manage editorial workflows and publication processes in the Bank’s institutional systems, including the Convergence platform and other corporate tools.
• Coordinate the end‑to‑end development of knowledge products, liaising with authors, consultants, reviewers, designers, translators and internal units to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Work with INE and Bank communications teams to plan and implement diffusion strategies for publications, events, trainings and related activities.
• Produce communication assets such as news items, social‑media messages, presentations, graphics, videos and other digital content.
• Maintain and update digital assets (intranet, digital catalog, databases, indicators and dashboards) for tracking results and knowledge‑related activities.
• Support monitoring, analysis and reporting of indicators on production, dissemination and use of knowledge products and training activities.
• Provide operational assistance for reports, events, trainings and internal processes linked to knowledge management and technical cooperation.

• Motivated and proactive professional with strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Experience in coordinating multi‑stakeholder projects and meeting tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Convergence publishing platform.
• Experience using digital publishing tools and content‑management systems.
• Ability to create and maintain dashboards and other data‑visualisation tools.
