Receptionist (Healthcare)

About the role

As a Receptionist at Oncoservice Bolivia you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and suppliers, providing a warm and professional welcome. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and supports the daily operations of a healthcare centre.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls, manage multiple lines, and record messages accurately.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, maintain agendas and update internal systems.
• Greet, orient and assist persons arriving at the reception area.
• Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, handling documentation, mail processing and coordination with other departments.
• Keep the reception area tidy and ensure the waiting room is organized.
• Enter and verify data in internal software platforms.

Required profile

• Professional telephone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls.
• Experience in visitor management, agenda control and waiting‑room organization.
• Clerical skills including filing, basic office documentation and mail handling.
• Effective communication with clarity, empathy and teamwork coordination.
• Customer‑service orientation, respectful and non‑discriminatory attitude toward all patients.
• Minimum education in administration, secretarial work, customer service or similar; prior reception experience in a healthcare setting is valued.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, responsible and willing to learn company‑specific procedures.
