About the role

Toptal is seeking a Management Consulting Matcher to work directly with clients, understand their consulting needs, and custom‑match them with top Management Consultants from our global talent network. This fully remote position involves supporting the matching process from initial requirement gathering through engagement and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client requirements, define job descriptions and talent responsibilities.
• Search the talent pool, shortlist candidates, and manage availability requests.
• Introduce candidates to clients, highlighting technical and cultural fit.
• Customize talent rates, adjust commitment types, and schedule engagement dates.
• Obtain feedback, maintain detailed documentation on the platform, and provide guidance to consultants.
• Investigate and help resolve any client‑talent disputes in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Strong consulting or recruitment experience, preferably with management consulting talent.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and build lasting relationships.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate documentation and feedback loops.
