About the role

The Production Manager will lead the manufacturing plant in El Alto, ensuring product availability while meeting quality standards and process efficiency. This role oversees staff, resources, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production personnel, assign resources, and enforce discipline and safety standards.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor plant production to meet committed output.
• Maintain accurate inventory, balance monthly mass, and ensure formula compliance.
• Secure raw material availability through purchase requests and manage stock policies.
• Track performance indicators such as productivity, OEE, scrap, and over‑weight.
• Define and support critical equipment projects (PAP) and ensure resource readiness.
• Review production reporting, develop action plans, and improve process efficiency.
• Design, implement, and control autonomous maintenance and process routines.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement culture.
• Identify CAPEX needs, execute approved investment plans, and maintain infrastructure.
• Participate in safety, environmental, and quality audits and trainings.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing production teams in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of polymer extrusion and injection (desired).
• Ability to train technical staff and enforce compliance with standards.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and inventory management skills.
