About the role

The Head of Accounting will lead the accounting function for MAROMBA Training Center, ensuring accurate daily financial operations and compliance with local regulations. This full‑time, onsite position reports directly to senior management and plays a key role in budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Organize, supervise and execute daily accounting activities across the company and its units.
• Coordinate the recording of financial transactions and the preparation of financial statements.
• Manage monthly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Control budgets, reconcile accounts and prepare management reports for leadership.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Solid experience in senior accounting roles with proven responsibility.
• Advanced knowledge of current accounting and fiscal regulations.
• Experience in financial closings, statement preparation and result analysis.
• Proficiency with office tools, especially Excel, and with accounting/ERP software.
• Leadership, strong organization, attention to detail and data‑driven decision making.
• Effective communication, teamwork orientation and willingness to learn.
