Head of Finance

About the role

VoltX is building a new mobility solution for Latin America, transitioning from combustion motorcycles to electric mobility. We are expanding operations in Bolivia and Peru and seek a Head of Finance to lead the financial function across both countries, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for Bolivia and Peru.
• Develop and maintain VoltX’s consolidated financial model, cash‑flow projections and capital‑needs forecasts.
• Build growth scenarios, sensitivity analyses and financial dashboards with KPIs.
• Oversee cost of imports, landed‑cost calculations and product‑level cost structures.
• Analyze gross margin, contribution margin, EBITDA, unit economics and pricing strategies.
• Evaluate profitability by product, market and business line, as well as payback, ROI and capital returns for new investments.
• Support financing structuring for fleet growth, prepare financial models for banks, funds and investors, and participate in debt and equity raising processes.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Supervise treasury, cash‑flow and working‑capital management, coordinate accounting processes in both countries and implement financial controls to support rapid growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑4+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Project Finance, Private Equity, Venture Capital or similar roles.
• Strong financial modeling ability and advanced Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, cash‑flow, unit economics, margins and investment evaluation.
• Analytical, structured, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
• Entrepreneurial attitude comfortable working in a high‑growth, early‑stage environment.
• Professional level English is a plus.
