About the role

Our client, a leading financial services company, is looking for a high‑performing Android Developer to design, build and maintain robust mobile applications that meet business objectives and deliver an excellent user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications using modern architectures.
• Implement MVVM architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Integrate apps with backend services via REST APIs.
• Manage local data persistence with Room or DataStore.
• Apply clean‑code practices, SOLID principles and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers and QA teams.
• Version control and change management using Git.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin; basic knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData/StateFlow), Compose and XML layouts.
• Familiarity with REST API consumption (Retrofit, JSON).
