About the role

The World Food Programme is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Associate to support the Country Office in planning, implementing and tracking M&E activities linked to its strategic plan and programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, implementation and follow‑up of monitoring and evaluation activities related to the Country Strategic Plan and other interventions.
• Manage the collection, validation, consolidation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data for results tracking, indicator reporting, corporate commitments and reporting requirements.
• Ensure the quality, consistency and integrity of data, data‑collection tools and analytical products produced by the M&E unit.
• Provide technical guidance to programme units, field offices, implementing partners and other stakeholders on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and related issues.

Required profile

• Works under the direct supervision of the Office Head, acting as the head of the Monitoring & Evaluation Unit.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation processes, data management and analysis.
• Ability to work with both qualitative and quantitative information and to produce reliable analytical outputs.
