Asociado de Programas – Coordinador/a Emergencias

About the role

The Program Associate – Emergency Coordinator will support the implementation of emergency operations for the World Food Programme in Bolivia. Reporting to the Programme Manager, the incumbent will lead the management of emergency projects, ensuring that assistance reaches beneficiaries promptly and in line with humanitarian principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the management of emergency projects and monitor the effective execution of field activities.
• Coordinate closely with all relevant units, including cash‑transfer teams and the SCOPE beneficiary management platform.
• Oversee beneficiary selection, registration, food distribution or cash‑transfer processes and ensure they are completed within set timelines.
• Track and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with operational standards and humanitarian guidelines.
• Support logistical arrangements and liaise with partners to facilitate timely delivery of assistance.
