CloudOps Engineer – Direct Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a CloudOps Engineer to join our global team and help operate and evolve the cloud and edge infrastructure that powers Seagull’s SaaS platform. In this direct‑contract position you will ensure that our production environment remains highly available, secure and performant while supporting rapid scaling for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud and edge infrastructure components supporting the SaaS platform.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and deployment processes using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
• Monitor system health, performance and security, and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule to provide 24/7 platform support.
• Optimize resource usage and cost across cloud environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with cloud or edge infrastructure in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of high‑availability, scalability and security principles.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, attending the La Paz office four days per week.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
