About the role

At TELUS Digital, the Clinical & Medical AI Expert safeguards medical truth in AI systems. You will work with a community of healthcare professionals to train large language models on diagnostics, pharmacology, and patient‑care logic, ensuring AI reasoning meets clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI chain‑of‑thought reasoning for medical diagnostics against international protocols such as ICD‑11 and DSM‑5.
• Verify AI‑generated drug interactions, dosage recommendations, and contraindications using peer‑reviewed literature.
• Precisely label complex datasets—including MRI/CT scans, pathology reports, and genomic data—to improve visual‑spatial reasoning of models.
• Identify and mitigate medical hallucinations, creating safety guardrails for clinical deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency (C2+) in your primary language.
• English proficiency of at least B1 for technical research and reporting.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
