Técnico/a de Educación – Valles Interandinos

About the role

The Education Technician will ensure the technical‑operational implementation of the Quality Education model in the Valles Interandinos region, following the strategy set by the national office of Ayuda en Acción.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute activities defined in the annual education plan for municipalities and communities.
• Coordinate actions with municipal authorities, local actors, community organisations, teachers, students and youth.
• Report progress, propose improvements and support the Territorial and National Education Coordinations.
• Participate in institutional reflection events on the educational model and related national/international topics.
• Design and deliver sensitisation and training sessions for local stakeholders.
• Organise and take part in local events promoting the right to education.
• Contribute to territorial planning together with the Territorial Coordination team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Pedagogy, Psychology, Economics, Sociology or related fields.
• Post‑graduate studies in higher education, rural development, employment, entrepreneurship or project management (preferred).
• Knowledge of international and national education regulations and the right‑to‑education approach.
• Minimum 2 years experience with cooperation organisations and 4 years implementing educational processes, preferably in productive or technical education, alternative education centres, employment and entrepreneurship.
• Experience coordinating with political, social and community authorities.
• Fluent Spanish (C1) and basic proficiency in the local language.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Google Workspace applications.
• Virtual collaboration tools: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet.
• Moodle learning platform.
