Senior Software Engineer – Reliability & Customer Experience

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on Site Reliability Engineering to own the stability and customer experience of our property‑management platform. You will work remotely, collaborating with product and engineering teams to eliminate production bugs and build a resilient service that landlords and tenants can rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the production bug backlog to zero by prioritising and fixing issues that affect customers.
• Lead root‑cause investigations, implement durable fixes and prevent recurrence.
• Expand automated test coverage (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) for critical Node.js, React and Firebase flows.
• Own and improve observability using Datadog, Sentry and GCP Cloud monitoring, logs, metrics and traces.
• Maintain and enhance reliability as a core product feature.

Required profile

• Strong background in building and operating Node.js services, React front‑ends and Firebase Realtime Database.
• Zero tolerance for recurring bugs; passion for root‑cause analysis and quality engineering.
• Comfortable working with observability tools and data‑driven incident response.
• Desire to make a tangible impact on millions of users in the property‑management space.
