Senior IT AI Engineer – Direct Contractor

About the role

Seagull Software is looking for a Senior IT AI Engineer to design, build, integrate, and support enterprise applications and intelligent automation solutions that power internal business operations. The role focuses on full‑stack development, system integrations, and AI‑enabled workflows across Finance, HR, Sales, Customer Support, IT and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and support internal business applications, including frontend components and backend services.
• Build and maintain integrations between CRM, ERP, ITSM, data platforms and other enterprise systems.
• Customize and extend Salesforce using Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow and platform capabilities.
• Implement AI‑enabled workflows using LLM APIs, retrieval‑augmented generation, document processing and agent‑based automation.
• Own technical delivery from solution design through production support and participate in sprint planning, code reviews and technical design.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with full‑stack expertise.
• Hands‑on experience integrating Generative AI or Large Language Model services into enterprise applications.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, data modeling and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem‑solving, business analysis skills and professional English communication.

Required skills

• Modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and backend languages (C#, Java, Node.js, Python).
• Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow).
• API design, webhooks, middleware, OAuth/SAML/SSO/JWT authentication.
• Version control (GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, automated testing.
• Generative AI/LLM integration, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, document intelligence.
• Integration platforms (MuleSoft, n8n, Zapier) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
