Senior Fullstack Engineer, NodeJS & ReactJS

About the role

Deel is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join its fast‑growing SaaS team. You will build and maintain high‑quality, responsive web applications that power the global payroll and HR platform used by millions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React and Express.
• Design and implement server‑side APIs, data models and business logic, primarily with the Express framework.
• Create function‑based React components, custom hooks, Storybook stories and unit tests.
• Design, optimise and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries and data interactions.
• Build reusable, modular components on both front‑end and back‑end to ensure code reusability and scalability.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Stay current with emerging web‑development trends and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior full‑stack engineer building large‑scale SaaS applications.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React and Node.js ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and server‑side architecture.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and writing performant SQL queries.
