Security Architect – Remote

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a senior Security Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise security frameworks. The role is fully remote and focuses on integrating security across cloud, application, and identity domains while ensuring compliance and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and oversee enterprise security blueprints aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct structured threat modeling to anticipate exploitation scenarios and define preventative controls.
• Create and enforce security architecture patterns across cloud, application, and identity layers.
• Develop governance frameworks and technical standards for a scalable security posture.
• Advise engineering leaders on high‑impact architectural decisions and security trade‑offs.
• Evaluate and select emerging security technologies to counter evolving threats.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Security Architecture.
• Proven expertise designing enterprise‑wide security architectures and governance frameworks.
• Deep understanding of cloud, application, and identity security in distributed environments.
• Strong background in defining security standards and risk‑management strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
