About the role

Finning, the strategic partner of Caterpillar in Bolivia, is looking for a motivated Equipment Sales Representative to promote, sell and lease new and used Caterpillar and other brand equipment in the Santa Cruz region. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Advise existing and prospective customers on equipment solutions and negotiate sales or leasing contracts.
• Present new equipment models and updates to clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
• Plan and execute client visits according to an established schedule.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client information in the CRM system.
• Coordinate workshop and field services for equipment delivery.
• Apply equipment support programs and conduct profitability analyses for current and potential customers.
• Provide commercial data to support inventory planning, purchasing decisions and promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• University degree with a solid understanding of commercial and operational sales processes.
• Minimum three years of experience selling heavy equipment, parts or services.
• Training in sales techniques, customer service and negotiation.
• Intermediate spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience using SAP (preferred) and inventory/sales management systems.
• Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and heavy‑machinery specifications.
