About the role

The position is for an Equipment Sales Representative who will promote, sell and lease new and used Caterpillar equipment and related brands to an assigned portfolio of customers in Cochabamba, Bolivia. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and generating new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and sell Caterpillar and other brand equipment to existing and prospective customers.
• Present new equipment, updates, and service solutions to clients.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Plan and execute client visits according to an established schedule.
• Maintain up‑to‑date client information in the system.
• Coordinate workshop and field services for equipment delivery.
• Apply product support programs continuously.
• Conduct profitability analyses for current and potential customers.
• Provide commercial data to support purchasing, inventory planning, and negotiation with Caterpillar.

Required profile

• University degree with a solid understanding of commercial and operational sales management.
• Minimum three years of experience in equipment sales, services, or spare parts.
• Training in sales techniques, customer service, and negotiation.
• Intermediate spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Knowledge of inventory and sales management systems.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and machinery.
