QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about software quality and can ensure our web applications perform reliably throughout the development lifecycle. You will combine manual and automated testing approaches, work closely with cross‑functional teams, and drive day‑to‑day QA activities independently.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user‑acceptance testing for web applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Test REST APIs, including request/response validation, status codes, error handling and integrations.
• Manage defect lifecycle: identification, documentation, reproduction, triage, validation and regression verification.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners and stakeholders in an Agile environment, communicating progress, risks and blockers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with functional and regression testing of web applications.
• Proven ability to design test plans and cases from requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working in Agile teams and communicating effectively in English.

Required skills

• Automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• REST API testing (requests, responses, status codes, error scenarios).
• Basic SQL and database validation.
• CI/CD‑integrated testing practices.
• Cross‑browser and responsive web testing.
