Platform Engineering Lead

About the role

Plutus21 is seeking a hands‑on Platform Engineering Lead to design and build the core technology platform that powers its global AI‑driven businesses. You will shape architecture, write code, solve technical problems, and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a unified data layer, ontology, and semantic model that connects databases, APIs, documents and real‑time sources.
• Build reusable frameworks for rapid development of operational applications, workflow automation, and AI agent integration.
• Establish scalable cloud architecture, deployment standards, observability, and reliability practices.
• Work directly with executives and customers to translate complex business problems into data models, software, and AI solutions.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a growing team of Forward Deployed Engineers while defining engineering standards and technical training.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of production‑grade platforms.
• Proven experience leading architecture of complex, data‑centric platforms and designing ontologies or knowledge graphs.
• Strong full‑stack background with modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work with executives, customers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience delivering secure, compliant, and highly reliable enterprise software.
