Notifications Agent

About the role

The Notifications Agent will act as the liaison between DHL Express Bolivia and its import customers, ensuring that all customs and import requirements are communicated clearly and that shipments are released on time.

Key responsibilities

• Review shipments flagged by Import Agents for observations.
• Notify clients about registration requirements, permits, tariff codes and required import documentation.
• Receive, validate and track all documentation needed for customs clearance.
• Conduct daily follow‑up on pending cases and contact clients to obtain missing information.
• Record and update notifications in internal and customs systems.
• Validate client registrations on the National Customs platform.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to guarantee timely release of shipments.
• Prepare reports on notification performance and related indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade or a related field.
• At least 6 months of experience in customs management, imports or foreign trade.
• Strong knowledge of import processes, customs regulations and trade documentation.
• Familiarity with tariff nomenclature and customs procedures.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Technical level of English.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and customer‑focused communication.
