Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a skilled Laravel and React developer to join its fast‑growing, fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust back‑end APIs with responsive front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate with Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver estimates, meet deadlines, and ensure high code quality.
• Take ownership of tasks, align with client goals, and continuously improve the product.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building APIs and integrating them with front‑end frameworks.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
