Laravel & React Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

We are seeking a Laravel & React Developer to join Bluelight Consulting’s rapidly expanding remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. The role offers the chance to work on challenging, market‑leading applications while collaborating in a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications and RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them with Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk or Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Take full ownership of tasks, provide accurate estimates, and deliver on client commitments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align solutions with client goals.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk or Playwright.
• Proficiency in front‑end development using React (or Vue.js, Livewire) and Inertia.js.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
