Junior Compliance Analyst – La Paz, Bolivia

About the role

We are a Latin American fintech that simplifies international payments through secure, agile digital solutions. The Junior Compliance Analyst will support the monitoring and analysis of regulatory compliance across local and cross‑border payment methods, client onboarding, transaction review, and user identity management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, process and analyse transactions to detect potential AML/KYC breaches and other regulatory violations.
• Identify risk patterns in payment‑method data and cross‑border transfers using internal tools.
• Document findings and evidence accurately and confidentially.
• Verify and manage user profiles (individuals and businesses) through KYC/AML procedures, including periodic reviews.
• Coordinate with customer‑service teams to resolve identification discrepancies.
• Conduct compliance reviews of local and international payment processes, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
• Support the collection of information for potential suspicious‑activity reports.
• Handle internal requests from support, operations, and commercial teams and participate in compliance training sessions.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience, preferably in compliance, AML or fintech environments.
• Intermediate English (B1 or higher) is desirable.
• Additional courses or certifications in compliance, AML/KYC or fintech regulations are a plus.
