About the role

The Paint Shop Manager leads the automotive painting workshop, ensuring high‑quality service, profitability and customer satisfaction. The role combines sales promotion, operational oversight, and team leadership within a certified environment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote sale of painting services and ensure compliance with quality, margin and customer‑satisfaction standards.
• Develop partnerships with major insurers to secure a steady flow of vehicles.
• Design strategies to increase orders from private customers and ensure timely payment.
• Monitor adherence to Grupo Q processes and standards to guarantee optimal business performance.
• Achieve billing and profitability targets set by the company.
• Foster a positive work climate and maintain a safe, productive workshop environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing an automotive workshop or production area.
• Graduated in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
• Proven ability to manage personnel, negotiate with partners and work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer software packages for administration and reporting.
• Experience in maintenance of workshop equipment.
• Ability to prepare and control budgets.
