About the role

The company seeks a senior Civil Engineer to lead the construction of a multi‑storey building in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. The role covers the preliminary works, excavation, foundations and the reinforced‑concrete structural phase, ensuring strict adherence to drawings, technical specifications, budgets and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all construction activities during preliminaries (demolition, staking, leveling, excavation) and structural works (formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring).
• Monitor labor, subcontractors and heavy equipment performance to keep costs and timelines on track.
• Control material quality through concrete sampling, laboratory testing and steel verification.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress schedules, daily site reports and progress sheets for approval.
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards for all personnel on site.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a valid national license and registration with the Sociedad de Ingenieros de Bolivia.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Site Director, Resident Engineer or Supervisor on high‑rise building projects.
• Proven ability to work under high pressure, resolve on‑site conflicts and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills for material and labor performance optimization.

Required skills

• Advanced use of AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Advanced Excel skills.
