About the role

The Pre‑sales Engineer will provide technical support and advisory services throughout the sales cycle of telecom and technology solutions across Latin America. The role ensures that proposed solutions match customer needs and collaborates closely with the commercial team to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously train on the company portfolio and obtain product certifications.
• Monitor market trends, conduct price reference studies and support market analysis.
• Prepare technically and financially sound proposals, including scope analysis, feasibility studies, and budget planning.
• Diagnose client requirements, adjust proposals when scopes change, and manage CRM and internal quoting tools.
• Design project budget plans (PPP) and align them with company profitability policies.
• Collaborate with regional pre‑sales leaders and product partners to develop new offerings.
• Present commercial proposals in the appropriate format and coordinate with strategic partners for technical and economic inputs.
• Support hand‑over to operations and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Professional degree in a relevant field; additional specialization in standardized company products.
• Minimum English level B1.
• Project management knowledge (desired) and certifications such as PMI, ITIL, COBIT.
• Financial and commercial understanding.
• Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed networks, optical transport, private LTE/5G, MPLS, and related telecom equipment.
