Full Stack Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a skilled Full Stack Laravel & React Developer to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust Laravel back‑ends with dynamic React front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (and optionally Vue.js or Livewire).
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.
• Take ownership of features from concept through production, ensuring code quality and performance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, and Query Builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Front‑end development experience with React (Vue.js or Livewire a plus).
• Bonus: familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
• Demonstrated ability to take extreme ownership and deliver on client commitments.
• Detail‑oriented, positive mindset and a can‑do attitude.
