Docente de Psicomotricidad para Educación Infantil (3-6 años)

About the role

The school is looking for a qualified Psychomotricity Teacher to support the holistic development of children aged 3 to 6 years. The role focuses on using movement, play, exploration and meaningful learning experiences to foster physical, cognitive, emotional and social growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver psychomotor activities that develop gross and fine motor skills, coordination, balance, laterality and body awareness.
• Create and adapt curriculum aligned with early childhood development stages and, when applicable, International Baccalaureate (IB) guidelines.
• Observe, assess and document each child's psychomotor progress, identifying strengths and areas needing support.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages autonomy and confidence.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and promote inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Licenciatura in Psychomotricity, Health, Education or Sports (nationally recognized).
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in schools or educational units, specifically with children aged 3‑6.
• Proven ability to plan, develop and evaluate learning experiences tailored to early childhood development.
• Warm, dynamic, creative and observant personality with a strong vocation for education and child welfare.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of child development and psychomotor milestones in the first years of life.
• Expertise in gross and fine motor development, coordination, balance, laterality, body schema and spatial‑temporal organization.
• Familiarity with play‑based pedagogical strategies that promote active learning and exploration.
• Desirable: additional training in early childhood, neurodevelopment, inclusive education or the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
