Demand Planner

About the role

The Demand Planner will analyze sales history and market trends to create accurate forecasts that guide the retail company's inventory and purchasing decisions. This position ensures product availability while optimizing stock levels across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data by model, size, color, and season to identify consumption patterns.
• Develop and regularly update sales forecasts to support supply planning.
• Monitor market trends and demand behavior to anticipate sales variations.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to incorporate promotions, campaigns, and product launches into forecasts.
• Provide demand projections to purchasing/import teams for supplier order planning.
• Track inventory levels and stock coverage in warehouses.
• Identify risks of stockouts or overstock and propose preventive actions.
• Analyze product rotation and support inventory replenishment decisions.
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and forecasts for decision‑making.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement in the planning process.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role within retail (fashion, footwear, accessories, or fast‑moving consumer goods).
• Strong orientation toward results, disciplined work habits, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Passion for women’s fashion and current customer‑experience trends.
