About the role

The Junior Accountant will manage the company’s accounting and financial processes, ensuring timely and accurate recording of economic operations and compliance with current tax, accounting and labor regulations. The role supports decision‑making by providing reliable financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Record all accounting transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, income and transfers.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, analyze accounts and make necessary adjustments.
• Compile and review tax declarations (VAT, income tax, withholding, etc.) in accordance with legislation.
• Register fixed assets and monitor depreciation schedules.
• Execute monthly and annual closing procedures and generate requested financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather financial data and maintain confidentiality of all accounting information.
• Monitor credit follow‑up and conduct periodic cash‑box audits.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in similar accounting positions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or Auditing.
• Professional registration with the Colegio de Auditores/Contadores (CAUCRUZ) with authority to sign financial statements (mandatory).
• Experience in commercial or import‑export companies is desirable.
• Proficiency with computer tools and the Integrated Tax Administration System (SIAT).
