CloudOps Engineer – Direct Contractor

About the role

Seagull Software is looking for a CloudOps Engineer to join its La Paz office on a direct‑contract basis. You will work with global teams to design, deploy and manage the cloud and edge infrastructure that powers the company’s SaaS platform, ensuring high availability, scalability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, optimise and scale cloud‑based infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with exposure to Azure and Google Cloud.
• Implement and maintain CI‑CD pipelines to automate deployments and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor performance, availability and security of cloud environments and respond to incidents.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks, system failures and network problems.
• Apply cloud security best practices and support compliance initiatives.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to provide platform support.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools responsibly to improve productivity in automation, IaC and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automation tools.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting, attending the La Paz office four days a week.
• Willingness to join an on‑call rotation and support a production environment.
